I purchased a USB BDM NT device a few years ago and I am trying to use it on a new computer now.
I downloaded and ran the installer, and when I run the program, this message appears:
nandflash.xml or norflash.xml or spiflash.xml is missing. Check installation.
[Yes][No]
Whether I click yes or no, a big dialog box appears that contains 3 lists: category, protocol, target select. The category and target select lists are empty.
There is a textbox at the bottom that contains this directory path:
C:/Users/nsfw/AppData/Roaming/usbjtag/script/
The "script" directory does not exit.
There is no "script" directory in "c:\program files (x86)\usbjtag\" either (there are no subdirectories at all).
I wonder if Windows 11 has broken the installer.
Where can I find the files that should be in the scripts directory? I'd like to try creating the directory manually.
Thanks!

Re: nandflash.xml or norflash.xml or spiflash.xml is missing.
I uninstalled the application, and the used the "portable, no setup" version instead, and that solved the issue with the missing files.
The next issue was driver installation. I fixed that by opening Device Manager (as admin), finding the BDM device (under "other devices") and manually picking the drive files (they're on the download page).
This is when we talked via chat, and figured that the problem was on the hardware side - thanks for your help!
Eventually I found that one of the pogo-pins in my reflash fixture wasn't making contact.
And now I am able to read and write my ECUs.

I do not use Windows 11. I will setup an Windows 11 on a virtualbox and see if the setup works on the latest Windows 11.
