.p7 extension

Post by djoneab »

anybody know what the .p7 file extension is (e.g. "SB5101-2.5.2.0-SCM01-DIAG-NNDMN.p7") and was wondering if NT was able to use it to write to modem? Anybody know a way to convert it to .bin file?

Try to use UJmodem and it should allow you to open .p7 files.
.p7 files are just normal binary file add a header.

hmm you can remove the header with a hex editor the exact location varies from modem to modem but usually what i do is download a regular stock firmware (.bin file) open it up in hex and compare it with the .p7 file and delete the extra data (the header) at the top

Correct spoof should be SB5101-2.7.8.0-GA-00-NOSH Or
SB5101-2.7.9.0-GA-00-NOSH if thats being pushed in your area
Not SB5101-2.7.8.0-GA-00-NOSH-NNDMN Or SB5101-2.7.8.0-GA-00-NOSH-NNDMN.p7 Or SB5101-2.7.8.0-GA-00-NOSH-NNDMN.p7.csg For that Matter
