Stream

Post by stomperz »

Do caco stream disconnects for returned box's?

I would think not, some of the box's they get back are not working!

So would they send deauth
  • in case of what?
  • just in case?
  • in case of suspicion?
  • for security?
just a taught:confused:

i'm pretty sure how they do it --up here anyways-- is take their list of ALL UID'S that should not be active (wether it's for returned boxes, lost, stolen, etc. etc.) and run the deauth hit to all of them (the list is more then likely all put into the same place no matter what the reason for the deauth) so they would run it all together..but it may be different for different caco's.

Time Limit

Post by stomperz »

I wonder if there would be some sort of time limit?
Deauth list would be getting pretty long by now!

I'v seen some 2000 box's that have been provisioned for 4 or 5 years. (full blown)
Now that was 3 years ago, totaling 7 or 8. (not in touch with the ppl now to check)
Anyone have a provisioned box that old?

Where was testing on these box's then?

it's really hard to say..I've heard guys say that they got deauth'd on boxes that were about 3 years old..i don't know if they just randomly keep those numbers in the stream to be deauth'd or if they retire the numbers from the stream after awhile or what..i can see them just randomly putting those numbers in every once in awhile...but I can also see the caco just continuly adding numbers that should be deauth'd to the list that is in the stream so they are constantly being sent hits..i wish I knew that answer though..it would help everyone...

Dct2000 ph6

Post by stomperz »

Found a PH6 box, it was on my desk!
Taught it was a 2500 so never gave it a second taught.
The box was authorized about 2 years ago. It was returned.
I have the SPI auth capture for it.

I D/L all new software on it to make it vulnerable to de-auth.(box should be unprotected)
I will will leave it in the stream till it's shut off.
Maybe we can tell more about there channel list.
Never looked forward to have a box turned off!

that's good testing buddy....it's to see people who don't mind sacrificing boxes once in awhile in the name of testing !
