I used a router.....with no problem. VNC uses ports 5800 for web browser access or 5900 for viewer access. You forward those ports to the pc's IP address on your network running VNC and your good to go.

Driver Issue

Post by dotrat »

Got my replacement BDM today..... plugged it in and my system will not recognize the drivers. Tried to manually load the driver and the system stated that the INF contains no information about my hardware (BDM)

Any suggestions ?????

unplug the USB, run the setup.exe. Then plug in the BDM. GIve your VNC's IP address again and I can try to fix that.

Good News

Post by dotrat »

Well.....I was able to install the BDM on my work computer. So that rocks....I know I have a good BDM. Wierd thing though.....and maybe I'm missing something. My tools menu in the usbdm.exe does not have the option "load testing module". It's the same thing at home.....

Do I have to enable something on my computer ???

If you are using v 0.53. You do not have the "load...". Make sure you have the DCTTest.dll in the same directoty and you are ready to go.
