what you did was take a firmware update. people that do not take updates for awhile will eventually start loosing channels until they do take the update. it's always best to stay up to date with the caco's firmware. then like you said go back and block it all ..this is/should be common knowledge for most testers..yes the 700 kinda acts the same way

Blocking channel update will bring problems in long run. If done correctly there is no need for blocking channel update with no Ill Side effects.

For Most, Just follow The Standard Way. I do a Bit different and will leave it at That...
