Most of the 301.013's are single TSOP that need the VID MOD. Very seldom do the 2 TSOP 301.013's need a VID MOD.

Software detect the Ird right away and erase the flash in 50 sec. When it start writing, it write about 25% then stop 4 min then start writing and go to 50% and stay there. I didn't turn on the vidmod since there is no 100% flash in the ird. I will try grounding Pins 18-25 and turn on the vidmod. This weekend will be it's last day in this earth then it will be smelling my trash in trashcan :). Or I will use it for parts..

Same thing with the Buffered Jtag.. I jtag it from the bottom and R79 is gounded, alligator clip is connected to the metal of the IRD. Erase good, then it program only 50% and it gives me an error with the flash.

It's a single chip and I have program it before with the buffered jtag with 4mb flash..Can I play with the 301.013 dll files in the USBJTAGNT?
If you intend to full erase and program TSOP then you must turn on VID MOD. So people say they turn it on @ 99% DON'T know why LOL I have always turned it on before I start to erase then program and never had a Problem.

You never did answer what is getting extramly hot. The CPU? ( Big Square Chip ) Or the TSOP?
