Hi everyone.

I need your help. I have this receiver Tocomsat Crypto. I connect USBJTAG but i have this message from USBJTAG Software:

What kind of CPU it is?
If it is MIPS then does it uses EJTAG?

Hi bdm.

Yes, is a MIPS cpu .. you can see the pictures in the attach file. The only part of the board that i not connect anything was LOVK and POWER. Because i dont know what is LOVK, i means if is TDI or TRST. Please help me in that, the connection points.

Well, i continue with the investigation. Now i test with Protocol ETAGPIC like USBBDM said and target PIC32MX and i have this:

The connection was:

NT recevier
pin 1 TRST POWER this point have 3.3v ( with electricity )
pin 3 TDI LOVK
pin 5 TDO TDO this point have 3.3v ( with electricity )
pin 7 TMS TMS this point have 3.3v ( with electricity )
pin 9 TCK TCLK
pin 2 GND GND

also the recevier not have electricity because USBJTAG NT have it.

any suggestion???

CPU ID 80000000 tells the connection is not right.

LOVK Could mean Lo Voltage (K????). If I where you I would compare the TDI Voltage on Known Targets and Compare the voltage on that Particular target and if they check out then I would try connecting the TDI Wire. But that's just me Thinking Out Side The Box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
