DVI 3000 firmware and NVRAM wanted.

Post by usbbdm »

While waiting for my USB 2.0 board to arrive, I connect the JTAG to DVI300. The firmware and NVRAM on my box was corrupted. I need good NVRAM and firmware.
Anyone know how to stop the watchdog?

Restored 16.21. Due to the watchdog. To program the whole flash I used block program. Each block program 0x80000 and finally I can program the whole flash.

How to deactivate the watchdog

HOW TO DEACTIVATE THE WATCHDOG:
A Hardware solution.
(by Mr.Sandman, from cmhacks)

Hi!
This is from a Spanish forum:
(I will try to translate it as good as possible. Babylon is my friend, jeje).

We deactivate the watchdog by lifting the 14th pin of the chip LV and deriving it to gnd with a 10k resistance. We can use a on/off interruptor so after programming all the data to the flash (it must be deactivated) we will have to let it in its initial position for it to work again.
To deactivate the wachdog the deco must be on, and for activate it too.
Well, with the dvi3000 off, we remove one of the two contacts of the cell, let it 5 min off and then switch on the deco (without the coax) and proceed to deactivate de watchdog.
Be care with the pin14, you can break it.

Hope it helps.
