Need help please with Sb4100 to debrick with usb ttl max232 .

witch loader or software do i need with Usb ttl max232?

tap c
tap a ffffffff
If you see DEBUG ON then press detect again.

try to use tap c
tap a ffffffff
then erase and sprogram
then reboot and cmpram.

Use "scmpram" if you see DEBUG ON and you want to compair.

need help with this modem. first question is should i be using sb5100 under usbjtagnt or sb5101? but when the flash was detected im getting idcode fffffff manufacture code 7ff. so i figure the modem is bricked. been trying to use procedure 1 to debrick but no luck. does anyone have the picture of the board and instruction on debricking the modem thru using the voltage connection? any info is appreciated

Check JTAG pins. Pin 1 is RED. To me it is not the modem but your JTAG connection problem.

yes my pin 1 is red with the arrow on the same side. pin 1 is connected to pin 6 on the board...this is what im getting when choosing sb5101mod, sb5100, and sb5101

Then you have JTAG connection problem. Soldering or whatever. With all FFs nothing can be done.

my wrt54gv2 was bricked and the flash intel dead.
I just changed the chip for an AMD 29LV800BB complatible.
when i do a detect I see:

Are you sure the initial flash is 29LV800BB. That is very small flash. I think you should have at least 2M flash. I have never used this router myself.

my router is a wrt54g-v2 the last flash was an intel 28F320C3 , but it was dead.
here in spain there is no chips, so I was looking for in Internet but nothing,
and then I saw a flash chip inside a broken DVD, it was EXCELSEMI ES29LV800BD -70TC , pdf datasheet says it is 8Mb ,
i just soldering in the same position UC5 and I tried with usbjtagnt and now it is detected as you see:

This will never work. The initial chip is 4MB (4 Mega byte). Your chip is 1MB. Unless you get the same chip do not try to debrick it.

It is a simple question, could be possible to use the USBJtag NT to debrick Android G1 dream cellphone?. Many people has done a brick in its G1 cellphone from different ways, when they are updating the bootloader (SPL), downgrading to factory roms, or updating roms without the proper applications. Now I found a good pictures about the Jtag points. May you verify it and give me you opinion about that?.

What is the CPU? If it is MIPS core it is amlost ready. But if it is not well known CPU core then NT might not be ready yet.
