usbbdm: prevent application from being erased

basicly rthe update erases the old applications never uploads new ones since its blocked on the 2222

new applications can trigger firmware update even if BLOCKED.

0793 nvram + 0793 test fw = no tv guide and firmware is not updated
0808 nvram + 0808 test fw = no tv guide and firmware is not updated
virgin 0815 nvram + 0793 test fw = no tv guide and firmware is UPDATED!
virgin 0815 nvram + 0808 test fw = no tv guide and firmware is UPDATED!

I think block firmware is for the purpose to have the hacked firmware stays. If your CC upgrade the firmware you MUST upgrade to the same version of firmware to get TV guide. But manually upgrade allows you to do some testing features on it.

u gotta disallow firmware update at any cost, if the test features get disabled the box will be zapped.

you cannot stop applications from being deleted? any way to ignore the command since its not going to xc chip we have access to everything else right?

applications from being deleted will provide anyoner layer of security, is easy to bypass current ones

EDIT: on 0808 channel update option off allows new app to be uploaded (app update block on) 0793 dosent allow this

here is what hapens on 0808 firmware/ 0808 nvramA
1.current applications are erased only current 0808 or firmware app is loaded
2.diag 10 shows 0815 app being dwonloaded
3.diag 10 shows 0815 app as LOADING
4.firmware is updated to 0815
