I have seen that in the new software there is already a jtag search mode, can you upload a video to YouTube doing a demonstration?
Can you use usbjtagNT for this? or u-link is necessary
Thank you

Re: Jtag Pin Finder
OK I will do that. The first release might not be perfect yet.
It is only in u-Link Hardware.
When scanning the pins, each pin needs to be pulled high and low while USB JTAG NT can only have two programmable pins.
I think I need to exclude TRST scanning as an option since not all the JTAG port has TRST pin implemented.
But I will release a video today to show how it works.

Thanks for the support, the trst pin, you could leave it as optional, if you want to scan with that pin or not.

Found some bug today. Will release the software first before the video.

ok, thx
I think that the jtag finder is one of the best features that this new cable can offer.

Re: Jtag Pin Finder
Thanks for the demonstration.
I'm sorry, but I can't do tests, because I don't have the u-link cable, I only have the 2 previous versions of jtag NT.
Regarding the working voltage, it would be good to use a pin as input Vref, to adjust the rest to that voltage.
Depending on the SoC or cpu, it can work between 1.2v and 5v.
I don't know if u-link has that voltage range.
This can be done in 2 ways. With a command selecting the working voltage of the u-link, and another through an entry in a pin like Vref.

Re: Jtag Pin Finder
3.3v and 5V has no problem.
1.8V might work. 1.2v will not work.
