ecu 411 spi

Is there a way to read the spi tx registers when a chip select is asserted? I'm trying to understand how configuration bits are sent to the ignition controller.
Do you think script would be the best way to approach this? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

No. We need to write code to access SPI chip. Script will not work to read/write SPI data.

Are you refering to code for your jtag/bdm software or would this be a subroutine? Are there any other stratagies that would work?

I am referring the code for MC68331 to access SPI.
