Depends on what type of CPU it has. Read is possible, write needs to see if work needs to be done. Chat with me via online chat when you see me online.

Hi

In this instance the ecu has been fired. The eeprom was able to be retrieved but the ecu is dead the ecu carries an mpc556LF processor. So I was looking for a solution to read the flash independently without removing it from the board. For instance going direct pin soldering

The ecu is from a mazda bt50 2011 ecu type is edc16c7

Regards

I have only played on EDC16 and people tried their EDC16 and said it is not working for them. I just need to modify software to work with the EDC. In general u-link NT does support MPC5xx CPU.

Would there be a pin out avaliable ? So I can attempt if it works?

Pinout on u-link NT side is in the software. On the ECU side, you need to find out yourself.

It uses a regular bosch style bdm. You can match pinout with ulink by matching up GND pin but top left pin you see in photo is "pin 1".
