4100 firmware question

i have a working 4101 and a 4100 with hack.i also have a new 4100 that im tring to flash.i read the flash of the the 2 hacked modems but when i flah it to the factory 4100 it won't connect.all i get is power on and recieve flashing.i tried net boot at first but and won't finish the proses.inside the new 4100 there is a sticker that reads sb4100 W/ALPS and it has an inel flash chip.the other 4100 with hack has a sticker reading sb4100i with a toshiba flash chip.i've been at it for days now and need some help.anysuggestion will be more than welcomed,thax

is there a way to flash just the 800 kb firmware and not the whole 2 mb flash using the jtag?

USe USB JTAG NT you can program by blocks giving start address and length.

i have a usb jtag i don't know if it's an NT.i've tried using a script in the def file called
sb4100parts and after, all the modem does is rapid reboots,had to flash back to factory to get back to norm.

What would the start address & end address be for these on the SB4xxx modems... I notice your guides for SB4xxx modems show just how to do 2mb dumps and none show how to do just firmware...
