Changing Firmware on SB4200

Post by KTMFactoryRider »

Hey everyone, I originally got my USBJTAG NT to debrick a router and now I'm having a great time messing with everything I have...

I am now playing with a sb4200 modem. First let me say that it is a subbed unit that was replaced and this is just for instructional/informational purposes and totally legal.

Now with that said, I want to change just the firmware but when I read the existing firmware on my NT, I get info in both the firm and firm1 tabs.

I figure I can ldram firm and put the new firmware dump in but what about the firm1 tab? Will NT put the firmware in both areas were it needs to be or do I need to do something else to load it?

Thanks!
