Possable bug in NT

Post by Koevoet »

From 0.16 upto 0.21 i get an error whilst connecting a SB4100 with an AMD 29lv160DT flash (see pic) , after clicking ok on the error it shows the flash , but you cant do jack. On 0.15 and below it works perfect. Now maybe it is due to it being an AMD chip on this model but as i have no other 4100's i am unable to verify if this is indeed a bug.

I think it is the cfi. Can you try to type cfi 0?
Some AMD had the the flash sector definition reversed. Maye be I should auto enable the CFI once it goes to larger than 2M.
It is not the problem of SB4x00. It is in the flash data.

I found the same thing on SB5120 with AMD chip. I will take a look how to fix it.

I just uploaded 0.22 and please try. The major feature of 0.22 is PIC32MX support. I will ask developer of PIC32MX to write instructions.

Issue now seems resolved in 0.22 , i will check other features for any similar issues.
Thank-you

On a side note i tried the cfi 0 command on 0.21 and it did work after that

The issues is the non-standard AMD CFI command in PRI section. Seems more complete in bigger flash.
