What is required to get channels on a 6412? Is there a tutorial?

What do you mean channels? The theory is the same as for DCT2000 and DCT2500/700. Your XC chip should hold the right key to get the pay channels. For free digital, JTAG is enough if you get the right local NVRAM .

What are the commands to use when dumping the NVRAM?

Can NVRAM be dumped from the DCT2224 for a DCT6412?

I heard you have to wipe the pay per view? How is this done?

can uid be change yet on this unit, if not i guess there is
not use for this unit, someone correct me if I am wrong.

i tried with 1 6412 lost everything except locals... but still have local hd also, so that will do for
football season.... i have 2 others that have all. but waiting for version 2 jtag.. should have took testers advice to save box but just wanted to test....
