Anyone know if Phrase I of 3416 has JTAG port?

I am looking to support DCT3416 in the future, I wanted to know which phrase of the board has the JTAG port installed.
EJTAG 64bit has one missing function and I wanted to add this but I need to find a good board to test it. Not sure if DCT3416 will meet my need.

3412 phase I has jtag tho...
it detects the Broadcom chip but cant read flash..
I assume it must be due to watchdog....

It must due to memory map.
Watchdog will not prevent you get the right flash.

This is from old post and still same result.
Moreover, when I tried to use search function, the 3412 gets reboot.
Thats why I thought it is watchdog.
If the box reboots when I try to read, isnt that the sign of watchdog?

In USB JTAG NT for non-DMA, NT is trying to stop the CPU and use DEBUG function to read the memory. Thus if the watchdog is enabled then the watchdog will trigger a reset.
When in search if a non-mapped memory is read there is a possibility to cause a bus error and that can also cause a reset. So I cannot say in this case it is a watchdog triggered reset.

Look for info on Left side of screen. Header need to be soldered in Place.

Ahh I see, you said in another post that the 3416 could not be detected as stated by USBBDM, but elkora has something here it looks like. If I can get my hands on the reverse torx then I will give it a go and see what happens. If it detects I think USBBDM should get something done with this, since it is an HD DVR box, would be nice to have more support on the "future" units

Yes, That would be Great. The 3412 is DVR And can be fully dumped. Don't know Why He has done no testing for that model.

they call the tool G tool or J tool, Not reversed Torx. I got the Originals in Screewdriver Format and 1/4 shaft format.

Nice, I will have to look for those on ebay, it beats hammering the f*ck out of the screws with a flathead screwdriver haha.
