hi guys and gals, been experimenting with an ambit 256 ave sorted it out per the instructions that people have been kind enough to give me, many thanks btw.

how ever cannot get flash type:

this is what a get, can anyone point me in the right direction please to what is wrong please,

Unknown flash type!

how about letting other people know what the issue and the fix was saves the question being asked again

yea sure m8 no problem, was getting the error ooff,ooff

i ran through all the pins connections and bingo it detected it no probs, think it was the pin 5 connector of the spi that cause the unknown flash type,
