I just got a scientific atlanta dpc2100r2 with the broadcom 3349
3349 = SB5101
And thats A SB5101 BackUp By The Way Not an Origina DPC2100 BackUp. So the Lights won't turn on with the SB5101 Flash.

Tundra - you rock dude !!!!
You said it ! there is nothing like doing it yourself !!! I just revived my very 1st modem and I just wanted to say thank you again . I open the 2m flash you sent me and saved all 6 parts individually then did the ldram/erase/sprogram
I tried to do scmpram but that would not go at all so I did each file one by one doing a triple erase then sprogram on each when I got done I unplugged the power and reconnected it and just used the tabs to open each file and verify and the log was still screwed so I went back and re-did it with the ldram/erase 3x/sprogram 3x and that got it back . all 6 verified then after plugging it back up to ethernet I punched up the old http:\\192.168.100.1 and boom she was back so then I went back and did the ldram/erase/sprogram with my original cfg file and boom shes back to her old self again . You rock !!!!!
and you can't beat doing it yourself but the only thing that I still question is why it would not take the scmpram compare instruction , whats up with that ? any guesses ? Gee that was soooo!!!! cool !!!!!

My Friend It does work, with the exeption of the lights. Its an easy fix. you can load sb5101 backup and add original DPC2100 bootloader before writing entire flash. Then the lights will work.felipeferras wrote:ahhhhhhh ya entendi
