Dpc2325

Post by cheeto »

Hi guys,
I just got my hands on a used DPC2325.
I'd like to be able to clone it.

I opened it up, PLEASE see picture.

It appears to look like a dpc2100. I honestly am not sure how to handle this one.

I noticed that some pinholes were soldered over. (I circled it in the picture)
I suppose I have to connect a pinout there?

Would i connect the usbjtag NT to the DPC2325 the same way i would connect a DPC2100?

Also, In the USBJTAG NT software, what configuration would I use to clone?

I am 99% sure you can use DPC2100 pinout. Extra check for the GND. If GND is on the same pin, then you are safe to use DPC2100 pinout. Use DPC2100 config or SB5101 should work for you.

In previous experience with DPC2100, i was able to clone if i didn't use a ground. I learned this trick from another user on this forum. :)

Anyway, I will get the pinouts onto the board and see what happens.

Thanks so MUCH!!!

You can use the Ground on the DPC2100, the arrangement of the wires is weird so I made an Adapter with the crossover and works great.
My understanding is that all these 2.0 Modems will be useless soon.
