e11 Dct2224 as development board
By using a Dct2224 with the xc chip removed (or disabled?), just an idea, if someone could use the Dct2224 as a dev board to send spi command to any models (whatever if a bdm or jtag is available via the serial port of the Dct2224 just for testing purpose ? This will make testing avalaible for some new model (hd,...) and just to not spend more time to work on each firmware and for each model (the works already been done in the past why not use it?).
Probably this setup could be used to log too ? I like the filter option....
The microprocessor on the model to test should have the reset pin enable to put the device in a high impedance while sending command.

No, it's first for learning and testing XC with any model (new HD and other that does'nt have modded firmware) by just logging and/or sending command to the spi bus. I know there are already existing plug-n play usb hardware on the market that are doing that (bus pirate). I was thinking to use old junk e11 as a cheap, well known and available to many member here to do this task.
About your experiment:
It is about CW sharing ? If it is, I really don't think that the cw would appear on the spi bus plaintext (nor encrypted) . I think you have nothing to share if the xc decrypt according to the key prog. inside. Encrypted stream come to the xc and decrypted stream at the output. Sharing decrypted stream is probably already done with an acquisition board to feed xbmc client, and people can filter not used pid in real time with some thing like sfk software to save some bandwith.
IRT mode enabled on these atsc ird ? You coul switch pid es and replay stream to see if it will decrypt...Again, I could be wrong

You got that right. If one tries early in the morning, there are spam posts available on this forum. They are adds for porn and dating sites, etc, just name it. Of course later on the master catches up and deletes them, LOLKillswitch wrote:I'm actually setting here laughing my Jock off. This site is slowly becoming a dumping ground for non-technical peeps.
