Dct 2224 ph8

Post by mr.sky »

On Sunday, went to my local Flea Market and picked up
2 of the above units.
First thing i did was backed up code and nvram.
Nothing but a black screen on both units, nothing.
Left them to accept firmware update, not sure what the
previous firmware was. Now it is 08.16
Now i can get channel guide, but still no picture.

I tried going to testing to select where it says
connect box, could not reach that point
here is command I used
reset 1
init
getram nvram
I was under the impression once i did getram nvram, it would take me to
diagnostic page, to make changes.
Here is attachment of my backup nvram, the second nvram is all zeros.
any suggestions appreciated!
could not upload attachments, says invalid file.
the first unit nvram says 1040104010401040 on all lines.
the second all zeros

Clearly you did not load the right dll. If you use old usb bdm you still need the latest dll for USB BDM NT. get a screen capture to post here or email me will prove I am right.

I downloaded Dct 2224.dll 1.0.0.1
it is in the same directory with jtagntwin.dll
As you know I have the original usbbdm, i am using usb bdm nt 040.a

Your screen resolution is too small and cannot even see if testing is there. Do you use dll for USB BDM or USB JTAG NT?

What I meant is, I want to get access to the page where all changes
are made, like fake uid, and the command to ...connect box.
