NO it doesn't mean that! lol....the box is for sure fixable! almost any and every box can be fixed if you are determined and willing to spend some time working on it. don't give up...keep trying because sometimes it's the simplist thing that you've over looked:DGarfios wrote:That means the box is not longer fixable, oh well what can do, thanks for the input.

please list the details of what you have tried so we can try to help you a bit more. it really seems like you have a bad connection~ ~ double and triple check your connections. maybe the tool isn't all the plugged into your usb cord? how long is your cord? remember the shorter the better..i know these seem like really silly things but you never know...you said that you get that error when you try to flshdct code right? so you can detect the box up until that point? and you can read everything no problem? also are the normal registrar's showing up when you initially detect the box? is that the only time you get errors is when you try to program the code?Garfios wrote:Thanks, I'll keep trying but I'm running out of ideas.

reset 1
init
flshdct code
ldram code
ldram vram
setram nvram
r a7 200400
r rpc 468
program code
cmpram code (everything worked the way it supposed to do, I turn on the box and the 8888 was still there, I tried a few more times to not avail) so I tried the one BDM suggested
reset 1
init
r rpc 248
r a7 200400
