We's all be out in Death Valley CA waiting for wisdom that will never come. In the meantime, where's my canteen ? I need some fluids .......
Well its very clear why you are laughing your Jocks Off. It is also very Clear that if you don't know how to start learning about NVRAM Stucture, THAT YOU MAY BE IN THE WRONG HOBBY..............

And yes Most members here may not know how to read HEX, Those that DO Started in the same Place, NOT KNOWING, So NOT Knowing should not be an Impediment for LEARNING........... LMFAO

People are not born knowing how to walk, Yet that did not keep them from learning how to do so. And what's Worse is the fact that in todays world SO MANY PEOPLE FAIL TO SEE THE FACT THAT THE INTERNET IS A GREAT RESOURCE FOR LEARNING ANYTHING...................

Post by universall » Wed May 01, 2013 2:01 pm

just grab a sub list and flash it back, you should be good. I like the saying show a man how too fish and he can eat for the rest of his life. but some people above will not even help out with getting a fishing pole.

Helping is one thing and SPOON FEEDING another. I give the Hints, If people are not smart enough to figure it out that's THEIR PROBLEM NOT MINE. If you don't mind SPOONFEEDING Then knock your self out. ;)

Dude, kindly give up the Spoon routine. It's old/tired like a Senior Citizen. A little weak in the knee. I'm still trying to figure out what it is that I don't know behind the scenes. I haven't needed my hand held for a long time. You, sure as Hell, ain't gonna warm it up.

For a very long time now I have not given a straight answer to those looking for help. Yes, It's intentional on my part to make people Use there Brains, If they have any left that is. LOL

Well my area don't have a keys change yet, but base on all of capone post in this thread it sound the only way to get back the missing channels is to program back the original backup that was made a first before any change was made. If am wrong let me know?

Wrong. That'll help with a firmware update and a few other issues, but CC isnt just gonna dish out a fresh set of keys for non-sub'd channels because you're box is saying it needs it.

MoonGoon, the people are right on about you. We cant all be wrong lol. You seem like a mildly intelligent individual, perhaps if you had a different approach to the way you say things, people would be more willing to help.

Instead you say you know this, you know that, you're the man where you are from, blah blah blah, but you're statements show the complete opposite. If you come into this thing thinking you know so much, thats a piss poor attitude, because #1, you dont....and #2 people arent going to help.

How do you know is NOT a Key Change? If all your channels are giving the "One Moment Please" message then what you stated above holds true to some degree. Or you can also just do a full clone from another box of the same model that is up to date and write that back up to your test box. but if you are getting the "Not Authorized" message, then it's a totally different issues..............

spoon feed

Post by universall » Fri May 03, 2013 1:48 pm

1. to feed with a spoon
2. to overindulge or spoil
3. to provide (a person) with ready-made opinions, judgments, etc, depriving him of original thought or action.

I don't think any person on this site that has made it past a junior member has been spoon fed..

Moto always had a scheme of making things hard to penetrate. Those pagers back in the day were useless once their accounts were terminated. We can get to the first level but not the seccond....Keys? those keys remind me of codecs like dixv and such.
or for those who copied a tivo to their pc, that "code" needed for it to play properly.
So, moto has managed to store the keys in the XC.....You get some....not all of them.
One day they roll em at their end and you need the new ones.(Not Authorized) hence Your box still has its pile of old keys....best example I once had a box which lost it's uid due to water spilled on it but it still worked! crazy thing was I would get one thing free for a duration, then it changes to something else free in time...enjoy that at least. When I have connected a foreign box I got alot of that "One Moment Please", most likely the map for the Qam is not aligned to that caco alignment. As for the programming...I believe there is partially something that might work, I have seen boxes who lost almost all channels, but the ones labeled "Purchased" hung in there. Thats about all I know right now....Just sharing some of My Little brain with some of You.
