Goodmorning and thanx for the advice on Comcast Company Protocol. Back to resolving glitches. One of these PH9's I got on Friday is now flashing bEr 1 with Startup. Our Admin believes this to be a bad Checksum inside its FW . I'm beginning to believe that it's a beat FlashChip. It's a CFI MX29LV160B . When I go and try to Program Code at normal speed, it'll erase but will not start the Write. BDM goes Off. When I try and Sprogram code, it'll Write but still comes back bEr 1 like the Write didn't happen. Can't Zero it out using the famous Factory Reset switch between the two Cable Ribbons. What to do? Very persistent. Won't Write at normal speed. Bah! Testing is so much fun. User Error is becoming a regular thing. Hardware has a difficult time being funky. Damn!
