08.08 firmware

i have 3 boxes one ph7 one ph9 and one cr4.

In order to fake the uid on the ph boxes i "getram code" and "getram nvram", then im able to use dct test to change the uid's on the 2 ph boards but not the cr4 board, when i click "dct testing>firmware" test i get an error "Firmware not supported".

The firmware version is 08.08 and its a cr4 board, any help would be greatly appreciated. Havent had to program these boards in 4 years or more, since the fw upgrade i lost all my premiums.

nevermind i just figured it out thought id leave it here for other ppl. Need to flip firmware under dct testing menu, fake the uid, then flip it back, then program

That implies your CR4 is type II.
Flip the firmware before and after you fake UID.

ya took me a few tries b4 i figured out i was supposed to flip it back b4 i programed it.
