I think I set the record for world’s fastest bricking of a dct700. Excitement got the best of me and I acted before thinking it out. I watched the debrick video and the 2 files that were shown were the 9000000.bin and the nvram.bin . I am not sure if these file names are “examplesâ€￾ relating to another file(s) for demonstration purposes or if they are actual files. Since I am very new at this I would appreciate some guidance. If they are actual files I think I would be needing a copy of them or direction to where I could download them. Thanks for the help!

You can "download" them from a working unit.

there is no reason to touch the boot on any device
unless its a special boot that had some debug function in it . some devices have this special boot.

if u program firmware wrong u cannot ever brick the device but if u touch boot u will run in lots of problems... some devices disables the jtag. and u have to enable via hardware like dchs or other boxes. some 4100s also happen to me.
