Dct2224 08.08

It seems like some peoples boxes are getting updated to 08.08 even though they have "block software update" enabled on their 7.96 boxes, and their channels are getting deauthed.

I would like to avoid this, should I upgrade my box to 08.08 myself before cc does it?
Will it work on my ccs system?
Will my current nvram work with it?
Does anyone know where I can download 08.08 firmware for Dct2224?

Anybody want to help to fix this auto update bug?
I heard on DCT700 if update is blocked the box is keep on rebooting and it is time to manually update the firmware.

I would like to help but my cc is not on 08.08 yet, but they probably will be in the near future

afaik 96/98/08 block upgrade works like a charm
