I have not tried myself but I think this will also work to keep the channels.
Instead of install the auth_block firmware, install a modify unit address firmware to anything. Now CC will never send any command to that box not only auth command. Anybody already have SPI captured can have a try and I believe this is much safer way to do it.

bd do you still agree on changing unit id instead of abac? do i need to spi,to load abac? its a dct from the area thats not subbed. i get ppv and hbos . i dont want to lose them so abac is the way?thanks anyone.
