My PH8 work great and have the premiuns starz hbo cinemax but one week ago my cc comclaste change the firmware from 7.93 to 7.96
when i conect the box i recive the new firm don let me se the premiuns
i have one box in the other room from the company i pay extended digital.
need help

I think the upgrade firmware erased your faked UID and your box gets hit and keys are gone now.

Every time when conect the box do the same
if i have another box this is going to happen again.

Fake the UID and at the same time, choose "Block Application Upgrade". The will prevent the firmware from updating. Make sure you do not plug the box into the cable line until you have done this--or change the OOB frequency so it cannot talk to the mothership...

How i change th 00b frcuency ?

To change the OOB frequency on a PH7/PH8, you need to change 2 of the last 32 bytes in NVRAM. They're in the address range: 0023FFE0-0023FFEF

In the 2nd to last line of NVRAM, look for this pattern: 01 01

and change it to something like: 03 02 or 03 01

Do not change it to: 00 00 - This will but the box in hunt mode and it will just lock back on to the OOB frequency.
