No, it won't work. Why would you want to do that? You can copy the channel info from the dct700 nvram to the dct2244 nvram with nvtool if you don't have a local nvram.

Only channels that will work on dct 2224, are the ones that were authorized. and that
is if they were not shut down by C/C

if they show up on your guide and you switch to them and they say need to upgrade to view, does that mean you have them? which model's nvram work on dct 2244?
