i have usbjtag and see there are functions to 'wake' the cpu. can i take a ram (not tsop) from working modem and place it on another modem then 'wake' it so it will run using the os in ram?

I doubt it will work. Ram is only part of the system. There are registers needs to be initialized. Why not clone firmware.

this is an attempt to clone firmware, i was hoping to take ram from modem that cant be jtag and put it on modem that can.
never mind it was just an idea
