Forceware programming on 6141/USBJTAG-NT

Post by debug337 »

I have the USBJTAG-NT using software 0.76

For some reason I can't get forceware to come up after flashed.

I can detect the flash with no issues. Here are the steps I am using

Detect flash

Select UBFI1 tab , under file I select forceWare-1.4b1-mod2.bin
WRITE

Select UBFI2 tab , under file I select forceWare-1.4b1-mod2.bin
WRITE

After that is complete I unplug USBJTAG-NT , 5volt USB and power.

Plug 12vDC power back in , it's stuck with a solid top green light. Won't try and go though a boot process.

My 2nd attempt was to load Forceware on bank 1 by itself ,all good then and modem will boot but I can't get the the forceware page.

3rd attempt was to drag and drop the firmware into USBJTAG-NT and program each bank , but same result .

It seems as soon as forceWare-1.4b1-mod2.bin is loaded on UBFI2 the modem becomes non bootable.

I've been at this for days and hours . If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be great !

Thanks

Try and re-download the firmware image, the one you have may be corrupt.
Also try to slow the write speed.

Good luck

You need to log in to the modem and start it. Forceware came with auto start off, so you need to start it yourself. goto 192.168.100.1

I use SB6120 to read and program the Sb6121 and SB6141. Works like a Charm.
