it's very sad that shit like that goes on. my/our condolences to anyone here to knows or have been a part of such a bullshit thing like that! some people are just messed right up to do something so traumatic like this....obviously the guy had ALOT of mental issues (which I am not condoning) but to kill your father (which is not being discussed to much in the media yet) then to go and do that to your mother...and then all those innocent children..that guy shouldn't have been so lucky as to kill himself...he should have gotten soooooo much worse !!!

I don't know how long I will let this thread go on for...this is a topic that is VERY touchy..so please if you guys do want it to stay alive KEEP IT VERY POLITE! AND REMEBER THE FAMILIES OUT THERE WHO MIGHT BE A PART OF OUR FAMILY HERE!!!

THANK YOU...

I know my vote doesn't count for much but I think it should be kept open for discussion. For those that did know the families involved, it sucks to say the least.

As time goes on more and more crazy shit like this happen more and more often, it is concerning. It is no wonder why I stay parked in my house day in and out, you never know when, or why, or who will do something like this.

I guess it's part of that shitty thing we call the human condition, we are capable of anything, and that scares the shit out of me. And to say I have social phobia, that's a laugh.. I prefer to stay alive so I will park my ass on the couch and rarely take a trip outdoors.

To the parents of all the kids that died, it sucks to say the least. Stay strong and try and take care.

Its sad in deed. And I agree with justsomeguy that this crazy person got away easy. It would ahve been nice for him to end up in jail. I am sure he would eventually got killed in there but it would have been a slow and painfull death, And thats exactly what This A-Hole deserved......

This incident is a good example of people overall and just how bad things can get without warning, when someone snaps you can never tell what they will do or how far they are willing to go.

Most people don't care to know why this guy did this but I would like to know seriously why he decided to kill his family, these people and them himself. Just writing him off as a "sick fuck" does not explain why he did this and is not coming from a clear rational point of view. ANd on the news they don't explain it either. I assume they are either leaving the details out or he simply did not give a reason although I am sure he had one - Whatever the reason may have been, it is still not a good enough one to do something like this to innocent kids that did nothing to him in the first place.

Just imagine if it had been our own kids in this school.

What sucks even more is this type of thing has happened in the past and nothing can be done to stop it. Columbine was another example of this type of scenario, and then that kid in Ohio state that shot up the class, then just hours later went back to kill the remainder of the people.

Something is clearly wrong with this day in age because people are snapping easier, and it seems like people are becoming more and more distant from one another, including their own families. And then shit like this happens and you can only be glad that it didn't happen to you. It is a very fucked up world right now to say the least.

I am not sure where your logic comes in but I am positive that just because there is a law in place or even a stricter one, that it will not stop someone from obtaining a firearm, or discharging rounds wherever they want.

Basically what I am saying in laymans terms is that no matter what laws they have or how strict things get, people will find a way to get assault rifles wether it be illegally on the black market, on the deepnet, or legally purchased. People will find a way to get what they want.

Nobody is safe, as much as they would like to have you believe, all these laws will do is stop legitimate citizens from protecting themselves if they decide to own a firearm. They are going to use this incident as ammunition against our constitutional right to bear firearms. Slowly but surely all our liberties will be stripped from us because of loopholes that are created to give the government more power and to take power away from its people. Our society is still called democratic but your vote does not count, and neither do your rights. It is a socialist society and we have no say in the matter.

Dude are you talking about your personal experience.LOl.The cable modem company are doing something to make it hard for testers to test. What do you what the government to do ? Just let it be and do nothing. There are still some things to do to make it hard to get automatic weapons.

Being smart does not make anyone DUMB PROOF. I know pleanty of smart people that do some really DUMB things. Besides he is not outright opposed to harder laws, He just points out that it will only make it more difficult for good and mentally sane people to get guns but yet that won't make a difference to obtain weapons from a non legit source, Which IMHO is 100 True. There are some very severe laws againsts DRUGS and yet people still import and sell drugs. So in that sence changing the laws won't make any difference other that as he pointed out, take power away from the people. This Land of the FREE in USA is nothing more than a Slogan, Nothing more than Political/Govermental BS..............
