Linux Support???

Post by iLLNESS »

I'm trying to use usbjtagnt on ubuntu but im having problems.

first and foremost, the software is not detecting the usbjtagnt.
lsusb sees it fine:

Code: Select all

Bus 001 Device 015: ID 04b4:8613 Cypress Semiconductor Corp. CY7C68013 EZ-USB FX2 USB 2.0 Development Kit
dmesg sees it fine obviously too:

Code: Select all

[432063.133879] usb 1-2: USB disconnect, address 14
[432071.492053] usb 1-2: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 15
[432071.627120] usbtest 1-2:1.0: FX2 device
[432071.627130] usbtest 1-2:1.0: high speed {control bulk-in bulk-out} tests (+alt)
is there something im missing here? i cant find ANY documentation regarding the linux version of the software so im working blind here.

also, the activation selection in the usbjtagnt software does nothing.

I hope this helps you. You need to install libusb and enable it as user.
