Dct 2224 BDM Off

Post by mr.sky »

Guys, been having problems with this unit, it was in erase stage and got
stuck. Now no Lights.
I am using 042.a
Also have 2224 dll in the dll file.
Unit does detect, only USB connected, but the BDM is on the OFF
I just tried another unit, to verify my USBDM is working. when I do
reset 1 the BDM turns on.
USBBDM, Says these units cannot be bricked.
I have been trying different commands with no success.
Any suggestions.
Correction this is a DCT 2244 Ph8

Copyright (C) 2010,2011,2012
USB BDM NT 0.42a
Target: DCT2224
-reset 1
Exit Script
-reset 1
-init
-flshdct code
Unknown flash type!
Report these values http://www.usbjtag.com/vbforum ffff,ffff

Also tried this!

Copyright (C) 2010,2011,2012
USB BDM NT 0.42a
Target: DCT2224
-reset 1
-speed 2
-reset 1
-init
Exit Script
-reset 1
-init
-ldram code
C:/xxxxx/Code.bin loaded
-erase code
Detect the flash type first!

If you do nto see BDM ON after reset 1, you have some problem. Regardless if the box is bricked or not you should see BDM ON.

bdm does not come on, I tried another unit and it does come on.
could this be some type of power supply problems.
