sb5100 help

Ever since I bought the usb jtag cable I have followed procedure that you have which is.
Program Sigma
detect
ldram boot select the sigma boot
ldram image0 Select sigma application
program boot
program image0

When I do the following I get a dead modem please I need some help.

question when I install the bootloader then it says reboot to change file do I have to reboot modem then program the regular file and reboot again?

Only if you use "sprogram" you need to reboot to use normal "program" command. Always use "cmpram" command to make sure what you have programmed is right.

This is what I get when I use the cmpram -cmpram boot
Compair data OK
-cmpram image0
Compair data Failed address 9FC10008,target 42,PC memory 45

what does that mean? what should I do?
this is the steps I use

Your image0 does not program properly.

Ok I programed again and now I get only the first light blinking???????????????????????

Well your JTAG works just fine. Then it is a matter of the firmware. You need consult someone who has experience with Sigma. I am not expert of Sigma. You might need to configure the firmware. Other sites should have information you want. Where do you download the Sigma from? I heard certain version Sigma needs certificate to work but not sure.

yes the sigma x2 origina from tcniso need certificate to work but there is a cracked version out there that works with out it and has some fixes

Try this Theoryshare download section. I think the SB5100 Stealth Editon 13.005 is a cracked SIGMA-X2.

POOR SOUL to clear your 5100 first just write command rest51 then wait 15 minutes then make sure you down load sigma bootblocker sigma 1.06 use commands detect writesigma the first to highlite is the bootblocker apply once 2nd 1.06 sigma apply twice go to web page disable all but baseline privacy
