ph8 powers off after any command
i got a ph8 board giving me problems. if i try to use any command i will hear it click off or reset. when i enter the command getram code it looks like it is downloading but i'm still getting all zeros in the code window. i've tried flipping the jtag connector around and also tried using a different PC.

thats the thing, it doesnt give me RPC it just outputs "-R" after i issue the "reset 1" command. the code output tab looks exactly like this:
-R

-reset 1
-R
another thing i noticed is that when i goto the tools menu and then to config the target always changes back to DP501P. not sure if that is normal or not.

If you use USB BDM, use BDM software.
IF you use USB BDM NT use 0.27a and select DCT2224 software.
If you use USB JTAG (NT) it will not work with your system.
Please also note, for BDM devices after reset 1 your device is under the control of the software (PC), thus the box looks "dead" until you issue command to run (g).

yea i entered the activation code..... i was going to upload the screenshot of that too, but i didnt want to make that info public to everyone. when i installed the software, i installed it onto a offline computer. so i figured if i connected the computer to the internet it would activate the next time i ran USBBDM NT.. but still says not activated. maybe i have to uninstall everything and reinstall it while the PC is online?
