The sb5100 and sb5101 aren't working anymore here in my area. Ive tried just about everything and no luck. I put back to factory and modem did go on-line. Program with firm and online light keep blinking..

had the same problem couple of weeks ago in SF but my 5100 and 5101 are mostly up now.

you need to try other firmwares and diffrent setting

I got the 5101 back up. I had to put a config file in order to get on line.

i take the posts i put back, im getting problems with both the 5100 and 5101 still. The 5100 won't go online at all and the 5101 only goes on when i have factory mode enabled

next year only 2.0 and 3.0 cert firms will work.

i am hoping for new firmware soon for the sb5100 maybe USBjtagMod for the sb5100

SB5100 & SB5101 a no go in most parts of south florida!!!!

djrob still sb5100 sb5101 down in most of south florida. I got mine to work with a config but only seems to work in my area. The 4100 and 4200 seem to work fine.

santino: i just got my 5101 on haxo32 modem working with original mac and serial with a config thanks for that tip.

The problem here is that it wont work with the config a couple of blocks from here. Strange?

have to use a valid mac (sometimes you need find the one that work for an specific area)
