Try to find the fatal.log in your UJmodem directory and email to me. I will tell you what to do next.

Your problem is different than others. This is most likely a wrong xml was created.
Use regedit and delete the target selection should fix your problem.

If the USB JTAG NT is not tampered in anyway (both hardware and software) it will be covered by warranty and you only need to pay the shipping back. If you have tampered then it is not covered by the warranty.

You mean crash or stop the app?
Crash will happen even if you do not plug in USB JTAG NT. Stop app only happened when you plug in USB JTAG.

There is nothing you can repair and you have no reason to open the plastic.

Do you click this multiple times? If it does not work click multiple times will not help.
IF single click will cause this, erase the registry should fix the problem.

I did that and the next time i open USBJTAGNT.exe it asks me what kind of device i'm going to use, so i put modem sb5100 click "ok" and then it closes (which is normal) but it keeps closing one second after i try to open it again.

UJModem.exe gives me that screenshot every time i try to open it

Again as I said if it is not tampered it is warranted and you will get repaired or replacement.
