i am trying to detected the flash type and this is what it tells me

I will suggest to check the connection. Especially the ISP pin.

it looks that all my connetions look good do u have a pic that shows the connections on the modem so i can make sure the other pic was right

okay all my connetions r good but it still wont detected a flash

connect all the pins to your jtag except the isp. (pin 1)

Power on the modem until the blue light flashes then connect the isp pin. All the lights should go off. Then hit detect.

or just have the other end of the jtag cable not connected to the usbjtagnt device....

same crap here. soldered all six wires and bs...every one says is easy ...can some one post or tell where the pin number on jtagnt is and how they run???? also how would u connect the six wires inside the nt??

You need to power on the modem. At this point, the modem will NOT power on and the detect will give you the flash ID.
